Countdown to Christmas

It has been a while since we've updated our blog, and definitely a busy month. Admittedly, the month of December began with a rough start as the adoption we had put our hopes in for almost six weeks, didn't happen. Through it all we have been blessed by the prayers and support of amazing family and friends and truly feel at peace about when another baby will join our family. Above all we have been thankful for our loving, understanding, and incredibly joyful girls who have learned to trust God's plan at such young ages, and keep us smiling even when we are feeling sad. Kayla and Kenzie remind us daily of God's miracles and we wait in expectancy for miracle number three! Despite a few hard weeks we have loved the Christmas season and the girls are definitely counting down the days until Santa arrives. Most importantly, we have been reminded of the source of our true joy, God's gift to us in sending His son. We hope this slide show will capture a bit of the fun we've had counting down to Christmas. Six days and counting!
