Five and a half months...first two teeth made a debut a week before 5 months!

First Trip to Disneyland...Brynna loved traveling.

I had a feeling that when I became a mom of three my blogging days would become few and far between...and I was right. Though our blog hasn't documented much of our first six months with Brynna, we have taken a lot of pictures, and hopefully her first year baby book will make up for the lack of postings on our blog. As I am constantly feeling about two steps behind, and always playing catch up, I can not express how much I love having a baby in the house again. Brynna has won us all over and we are content to sit and watch her roll around the room, suck her thumb, or bounce in her Excersaucer. She is a bundle of ENERGY, smiles, and good nature, and we are in love! Kayla has the gift of making Brynna laugh, Kenzie entertains her just by being nearby, and Rich and I can't get enough time holding, kissing and snuggling with her. She doesn't like to sit still for long so we definitely take the cuddling when we can get it. (As I write she is trying to jump OUT of her Excersaucer...I've actually never seen a baby attempt something quite like it!)
Along with the fun of watching Brynna grow we have loved watching Kayla thrive in first grade (she is an avid reader and writer and doing such a great job in school)and watching Kenzie develop a love for school as well. Kenzie is the class artist in her pre-K class and we are absolutely amazed at what she can create with simply a pen and paper (throw a roll of tape into the mix and she can create almost anything!). Both girls are in gymnastics again as well and Kayla has found a new talent on the school basketball team. It is so much fun watching her games on Saturdays. She started the year as a timid player but after scoring her first basket she stepped up her game and is now quite eager to get a hold of the ball!
This special year is passing all too quickly and I am trying hard to treasure each memory. There isn't a lot of free time, and some days feel a bit crazy, but I wouldn't trade my job for anything in the world.
