Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday started with an early Easter egg hunt just for the girls. We had gone to an Easter service at church Saturday night and it was nice to be home and celebrate as a family on Sunday morning. Kayla and Kenzie found their eggs very quickly this year so we might have to actually put a little thought into our hiding spots next year! After our hunt, and breakfast at home, we headed to Grandma and Poppy's house for Easter brunch.

Grandma had prepared a scavenger hunt for the girls and they loved reading the clues throughout the house (yes, here in Washington we do a lot of Easter hunting indoors) and finding their Easter basket of goodies at the end. Grandma and Poppy also had the traditional hunt for Rich, Michael and I. I convinced the girls to help me since history has shown that Rich is always the winner of this hunt! I think I might have won this year...or at least found the most eggs with $5 bills inside. Thank you Grandma and Poppy we had a great day!
