On July 13th we enjoyed our first baseball game of the season as the Mariners played the Detroit Tigers. The girls had been asking to go to a baseball game since we bought their Mariners shirts back in April! The evening was complete with hotdogs, lemonade, ice cream, play time in the Mariners children's playground, and a little bit of baseball as well! Kayla and Kenzie had a blast...though it took them a few innings before they actually realized a baseball game was being played on the field down below. 
The warm summer night was espcially fun since Grandma, Poppy and Uncle Michael met us at the game. The girls loved "the wave" which lasted a good ten minutes in the eighth inning and had fun dancing to the music that was played between innings. The Mariners lost the game but we think we probably have two new baseball fans!
