While down in California for Cheri's wedding we were able to squeeze in a little vacation time. We spent two days at the beach (where both girls LOVED swimming in the warm waves), visited Sea World with the
Bridgefords,
BBQ'd with good friends (thank you
Humes), and went swimming. (Thank you Nikki...we have so many great memories of swimming with you guys!) Kayla probably would have spent the whole trip in the pool if we let her. As always, we are so thankful for our "home away from home" and wish we could have spent more time and seen more of the friends we miss.
Kayla braved the waves and let Rich take her out into the deeper water. Of course it didn't take long before I was yelling for him to bring her back!

Sea World was hot, but very exciting for the girls. We tried to spend a lot of time in the cooler exhibits and near the fountains.
Both Kayla and Kenzie became fans of the diving board. I think the swimming lessons are beginning to pay off!
We hope to be back for another visit this winter!

Oh, they looked very nice at the wedding...I love white dresses!
