Wedding Weekend

Last weekend Kayla, Kenzie and I had the privledge of being a part of my good friend Cheri's wedding. Cheri was my Maid of Honor when Rich and I got married and she has been a close friend for the last 14 years. She has an incredible heart for the Lord and serves God in every aspect of her life. She and her new husband Chad will continue to serve with Campus Crusade for Christ together and I am so excited to hear of all the amazing things they will do together.

We arrived in California Thursday night for the bachelorette party at Newport Bay, and stayed in San Clemente Friday and Saturday for the rehersal and wedding. The wedding day was beautiful and Cheri was a beautiful bride. Of course, in my opinion, no one was cuter than the two little flower girls! Kayla and Kenzie had been waiting for this day for months and they did a wonderful job. I think Kenzie would have liked a longer aisle to throw the flowers...she was definitely in her element. Both girls has a special day and I hope they will remember it for a long time. Congratulations Cheri and Chad! (And I must add...happy anniversary Rich! We celebrated our 11th anniversary on Cheri's wedding day.)
