2009...From New Year's Eve to Valentine's Day

After an eventful Christmas season, and a fun winter snowfall, we headed to Downtown Seattle to ring in the New Year. We took the girls on their first taxi ride to have dinner with Uncle Michael and then had fun at the Westin hotel while we waited for the new year. Kayla and Kenzie both decided they were not going to miss the celebration and were determined to stay up until 12:00. Since our room had an amazing view of the Space Needle fireworks we were glad we let them stay up (not that we had much choice in the matter) and we had a blast welcoming in 2009. The New Year also brought the girls' first ski day (they did wonderfully and we ended up skiing two weeks in a row) and Kayla's first lost tooth. We hope this brief slide show will give a glimpse of the start of our year...it looks like it will be an exciting one.
