Makenzie had her first taste of performing this year and definitely loved it. Totem preschool (which Kenzie attends one day a week) put on an adorable Christmas program right before the Christmas break. The four and five year old classes do the majority of the show but the two and three year olds take the stage for the last four songs and (in my biased opinion) steal the show with their cute antics and adorable smiles. Kenzie loved the hand motions and instruments and we often catch her practicing her "moves" and songs at home. 
Kayla's preschool had a Christmas sing-along the week after Kenzie's show and she could not wait for us to hear her special songs as well. Mrs. Whitney, Kayla's music teacher, had been working with the kids for the past month and they learned some great Christmas songs. It was fun to see the younger siblings join in the excitement as well. Through the songs and stories Kayla really came to understand the reason we celebrate Christmas and we are continually thankful for the focus of Bellevue Christian preschoool.
