Welcome Christmas

It's officially the new year but I thought I should get around to posting a few of the many pictures from our Christmas season. Kayla and Kenzie were at such fun ages this year and eagerly awaited the arrival of Santa beginning the day after Thanksgiving. We actually went to visit Santa the weekend after Thanksgiving so the festivities did start early. Redmond Town Center proved to be the perfect place to get in the Christmas spirit and the girls not only sat on Santa's lap but rode the Christmas train and posed for numerous Christmas card photos.

Early December also brought the first snow of the winter season and we quickly began snowman building just in case the snow didn't stick around. Luckily, the snow continued for an entire day and by evening Daddy was able to impress the girls with a snow man that was bigger than they were. We hope 2008 will bring another good snow fall so we will be able to pull the sleds out of the garage.

Kayla and Makenzie did most of the tree decorating this year (dressed as princesses and dancing to every Christmas carol that came on) and did a pretty good job. Grandma and Poppy stopped by to admire their work when we were done. Building Christmas traditions has been so much fun and it is really special to hear what the girls remember from last year.
