Snow Day!

Rich left early this morning for a week long meeting in San Francisco and the girls and I woke up to 4 inches of fresh snow! Ironically, since we've lived in Washington Rich has been out of town every time we've gotten a big snow. We tried to capture our morning in pictures so Daddy could get a glimpse of all we did. School was cancelled for the day so grandma walked over and joined us for some fun in the snow.

The sun came out and warmed things up so we were able to stay out side for quite a while with out getting too cold. The girls built a snow-woman with grandma and we made a sled run in our front yard. We were even able to take one long sled run down our big hill. (The snow was a little sticky so it was a slow ride....maybe it will freeze over tonight and make for some fun rides tomorrow!)

Kenzie is the queen of snow angels. She spends most of her snow days laying in the snow or eating as much snow as I will allow.

The forecast predicts a bit more snow so if we're lucky we'll have another snow day tomorrow!
