Makenzie found her first caterpillar this week and was quite entertained by it. After playing with "her" for almost an hour we built a caterpillar home and Kenzie was delighted that her pet decided to stay all day. The next morning the caterpillar was gone but Makenzie remains convinced that she might return. I love her sense of wonder and her excitement towards all living things. It is so much fun to watch her learn and explore!
